First two European centres designated as CCCs of Excellence

The Cancer Research UK Cambridge Centre and the Netherlands Cancer Institute (NKI) have, as the first two centres evaluated by the EACS, been designated as Comprehensive Cancer Centres of Excellence.

The evaluation was executed under the responsibility of the European Academy of Cancer Sciences with financial support of the French Fondation ARC.

All European Comprehensive Cancer Centres are welcome to apply for the Designation of Excellence.
